Lots to be thankful about

This iz ma first thanksgiving EVER. I lived in a puppymill before Ma fostered me and eventually adopted me last March. I haz so much to be thankful for, my Ma loves me so much and she gives me lots of noms and accessories, she gives me what all doggies deserve.

I hopes all anipals out there find a home but in da meantime we can all help out by giving a little love to our anipals in need out there.

If you gots a few extra dollars please consider donating to Santa Paws Drive, it's a real great group of pals trying to give joy to anipals in shelters. Or you can take some treats to your local rescue, always try to remember small rescues, I come from St. Louis Senior Dog Project, they iz selling hot senior dog calendar this year, ok there iz no unreasonable pictures BOL but still real goodz pixis and it helps to care for da senior dogs.

But last but not least not all gifts are in money or items, best gift iz to give hugs to anipals. Go to shelter or adoption event and hug anipals there, show them what caring humans are!

Anipal Photo Hunt: #14 Mom

Dis is ma first post for Anipal Photo Hunt! Ma and I kept missing the past deadlines but I dinks we are on time for this one!
So Ma and Dad are unfortunately very obsessed with Jersey Shore, they don't miss an episode or preview or after party episode, seriously if I need attention during an episode they just don't care! So because of this obsession since July my Ma kept going on and on about how she wanted to be Snooki for Halloween. Dad was not so thrilled about being a character from Jersey Shore but Ma convinced him in the end to be The Sitch more commonly known as The Situation BOL. Now Dad is a little shy sometimes so we won't post his pixi here but here is my Ma as Snooki for Halloween. She told me later she had lots of fun! Maybe next year I will be The Situation instead of Dad!

Ma went to da store and all da Halloween's stuff was on super sale! so she gots me and brofur each a toy.

Dis iz me with ma toy 

Brofur destroyed his toy in 2 minutes!

He iz little sad about this but i donts care cause I iz little BOL

Ma what is dat thing there? Da filling? iz ma toy ruined? What? Yes? oh no :(

 Then i gots a bit sad about ma toy

But then I realized that brofur lays in this tiny chair

and I gets da big couch! BOL

The Nutro Prize

Yes, I have been winning so many prizes, Ma is certainly very happy because she never wins anything and she is happy that I have luck :)
So I participated in the Nutro Small Breeds contest offered by online twitter ambassadors @ReneeAtNutro @NatalieatNutro and @EdnaAtNutro. Last Saturday I got ma prize in da mail and it was awesome! It came with a big bag of food that had a dachshund on da front! yah exactly a dachshund itz like dis food was made for me!  plus it came with a holder for doggie poo (yah i don't care about that let mom worry about that) and some more info for humans to read over to show dat this food is good. But of course as Ma was reading the info all I could do was point at picture in front of bag and say: Duh! it has a DACHSHUND on the front, what else do you need to know? Anyway Ma read da stuff and directions on how to feed.

 Iz not for rottweilers!

 Okay seriously you don't want me to get angry! Back away from ma food!

Yeah that's right, I will show ma teeth to you! I may look small but i iz in charge around here

Uh seriously you are showing ME your teeth, yah I haz no fear!

 Get away fur brother! I won't back down it's ma food.

Ma tells us both to settle down! So we both lay down and waited, but neither one of us wanted to go far away from da bag. 

Ma was upset at us so we tried to act nice.

So then we both got Greenies and everyone was happy!
Of course i am still keeping a close watch on ma bag of food to make sure fur brother doesn't eat it.

Hi furriends!
This iz Moxie although many know me as MoxieDaDoxie :) I iz a tweeny dapple dachshund, yah i know its a mouthful just to say the type of dachshund I am, my dad haz been telling my momy to stop telling people when they ask her what I am that I am a tweeny dapple dachshund and just say weiner dog. Of course my momy refused and sayz she will NOT refer to me as a weiner dog BOL.
Wow ok i guess i iz getting just a bit sidetracked here, its only because iz ma first blog post.
Okay so a few weekends back I participated in da #pawpawty and I entered a lot of the da contests and won! hooray, I have been receiving ma prizes all week and here are some pictures of my winnings.

Check out the cool towel and doggy treat back from @poppy_dog, she sent me a card too!

This is me with super cute postcards that mom will help me write and send to my furriends, i got this from @smokey8 from @no_crybaby_dogs store :)

I am already looking forward to pictures from ma furriends @AutumnTheDoxie and @PerrytheBirman with the prizes I got to send to them!
