My dogsitter

Furriends as some of you may know about a month ago I waz very very bad. Against Ma's wishes I was left at Ooman Uncle's house while Ma and Dad went on weekend trip to Chicago. Yah I haz stayed there before and done ok, but I don't likez to be put in crate and I don't care much for petting (I iz from puppymill and only care for Ma or Dad's petting) so Ma did not think it waz good idea to keep sending me to Ooman Uncle's house. Well on Saturday morning Dad gots a call from Uncle saying I haz been super bad, gotten somehow out of my crate, destroyed a door and ripped a carpet! Yah! I did! Uncle was super angry and told Dad I could not stay there anymore! What could my Ma do? She was very upset about what would happen to me because they were so far away. But Ma quickly called Brooke, yah she da nicest dog sitter in da world! I haz stayed wif her before and after I stayed wif her I came a little bit out of my shell and actually went away from Ma fur like 2 min when we went to the dog park. Ma called Brooke that Saturday morning and she actually went to PICK ME UP from Uncle's house!!! and then took me to her house. I had a bootiful time there, Ma got to see me through her webcam  and Ma was happy. Dis weekend Ma and Dad are going away again and without no doubt Ma booked my weekend away wif Brooke. I iz going to Bark in the Park wif her and the other weekend boarding pooches! How fun!!! I iz glad to have a super nice dog sitter and happy dat I get to stay wif her dis weekend.

Ma graduated finally!

So furriends, I haz been away fur a looooong looong time, you can blame Ma please. She finally finished school, she has PhD now! All of us are so happy, I waz a little sad because that meant she had to go back to her laboratory and work there every day. When she was writing her thesis she waz at home wif me and brofur all day long and it waz soooo nice. For her graduation I gots a nice outfit fur myself too, I wants to be Dr. MoxieDaDoxie BOL

Holiday Photo Op and late happy New Year!

Hi all!
Well Ma iz letting me update my bloggy quickly, it has been such a long time since I last had a chance to use the computer. Ma is super busy writing her thesis, she is getting a PhD and after so many years she has too much to write. She tolds me after Thanksgiving dat I would not get much time online. I waz a bit sad because I haz so many good friends on twitter and on my bloggy but I haz to seem understanding and told Ma it was ok.
Anyway it iz a bit late but here iz da Xmas pixi of me and Brofur. Of course you will immediately see that Brofur is all smiles in da pixi, but don't let it fool ya he was really growly and Santa was not happy wif him. And I was not growly but I was not happy either, I decided early on that dis Santa character was not to be trusted and then suddenly Ma plopped me on his lap! The horror! You can tell I was displeased with Ma's decision but I was not growly (like Brofur!) It was our first Xmas pixi and Ma was not too happy with both of our behavior specially since she sayz she had gotten us matching reindeer outfits and all. In Ma's mind the Holiday Photo Op should have gone very differently with me happy on Santas lap and Brofur leaving his costume on. To top it all off when we were leaving Brofur and me got super naughty and were getting Ma tangled in our leashes and at the precise moment Ma was dealing with this out of a car comes a family of two hoomans and two dachshunds, all wearing matching t-shirts all of them looked perfect in every way. At first Ma got a bit sad and thought "Oh No! We iz no perfect family!" but then Ma  realized that we iz no perfect pair or family but there is lots of love and she iz happy that I iz not on a puppymill and Brofur is not abandoned in a shelter. We iz what we iz and that is just fine!

Brofur and me plan naughty things

I haven't always liked my Brofur, specially when Dad decided to adopt him out of the blue, well Ma was there when he decided but she really didn't have a say in da whole thing, so just like that there was a big big dog in da house. I like big dogs but I hatedz Brofur, I tried to attackz him all the time until Ma and Dad scolded me. I eventually got used to him and now we sometimes hang out, I iz very particular about what doggies I hangz out with but I like my Brofur now and sometimes we are naughty together ;) most of those times it involves food.

Some days like this one brofur's are great companions to do naughty things. I love my brofur Liam!

Thanksgiving Noms

Dis was ma first Thanksgiving ever and my Ma gave me and brofur some mashed potatoes that Dad made :)

This is Ma's hand picking up some mash potatoes

I gots da first bit, I loves it!

Then Brofur got some too, Ma gave him more because he is super big

Then Ma decided it would be fun to put mash potatoes on brofur's snout so he would entertain himself and try eating it! BOL i was barking at him and watching!

But then it was ma turn! Ma put mash potatoes on MY snout too! the horror! such offense! I donts look too happy here.

What iz I supposed to do about this mash potatoes Ma? I donts like eating like this! remove them!

Ma finally helped me clean the mash potatoes from ma snout and I ate them.
Then I got ma turkey shaped treat! She got it at a super nice store named Treats Unleashed 

Nom nom nom!

It was a great 1st Thanksgiving!

Lots to be thankful about

This iz ma first thanksgiving EVER. I lived in a puppymill before Ma fostered me and eventually adopted me last March. I haz so much to be thankful for, my Ma loves me so much and she gives me lots of noms and accessories, she gives me what all doggies deserve.

I hopes all anipals out there find a home but in da meantime we can all help out by giving a little love to our anipals in need out there.

If you gots a few extra dollars please consider donating to Santa Paws Drive, it's a real great group of pals trying to give joy to anipals in shelters. Or you can take some treats to your local rescue, always try to remember small rescues, I come from St. Louis Senior Dog Project, they iz selling hot senior dog calendar this year, ok there iz no unreasonable pictures BOL but still real goodz pixis and it helps to care for da senior dogs.

But last but not least not all gifts are in money or items, best gift iz to give hugs to anipals. Go to shelter or adoption event and hug anipals there, show them what caring humans are!

Anipal Photo Hunt: #14 Mom

Dis is ma first post for Anipal Photo Hunt! Ma and I kept missing the past deadlines but I dinks we are on time for this one!
So Ma and Dad are unfortunately very obsessed with Jersey Shore, they don't miss an episode or preview or after party episode, seriously if I need attention during an episode they just don't care! So because of this obsession since July my Ma kept going on and on about how she wanted to be Snooki for Halloween. Dad was not so thrilled about being a character from Jersey Shore but Ma convinced him in the end to be The Sitch more commonly known as The Situation BOL. Now Dad is a little shy sometimes so we won't post his pixi here but here is my Ma as Snooki for Halloween. She told me later she had lots of fun! Maybe next year I will be The Situation instead of Dad!
